2013 Clark County Running Club Calendar All CCRC runs are free to members unless noted. There is a $2.00 fee for Non-members There is no pre-registration. Just show up 30 minutes before the start to register. Please no Baby Joggers, Head Phones or Dogs. (For Insurance purposes)
Saturday, January 12, 10 AM Heritage Trail 3, 7 & 10 Mile Runs Run Directors: Bryan Chapman The 3 & 7 mile runs stay on the Heritage Trail. The 10 mile run will include 3 miles on the neighborhood streets -on the west end of the Heritage Trail. Directions: From SE 164th ave. - go east on SE 1st St. (1st becomes Lake Rd. on the south side of Lacamas Lake) approx. 4.8 miles to the paved parking area on the north side of the road. Cartoon network, computer games & Nickelodeon for kids during adult runs. Restrooms available. Directions: Take Hwy 14 to 164th ave. - go north on 164th ave. to McGillivray Blvd - take left (west) on McGillivray Blvd., to the corner of Bella Vista Road.
Saturday, March 2nd , 10 AM Lincoln School 4.3 Mile Run Run Director: *Wendy Beck* 513-5022 Run thru the Lincoln Neighborhood to the Discovery Trail, then climb thru the Ben Franklin neighborhood Directions: Go west from 1-5 on 39th St., then north on Columbia St., Then take a left (west) on 44th St. one block to Lincoln School. No restrooms.
Saturday, March 9th , 9:30 AM Washougal Dike Half Marathon and Quarter Marathon Run Director: Russ Zornick email me rzornick at Comcast.net The half marathon will be 2 loops on the dike. It will be accurately measured. The course is completely on the unpaved trail. Very flat course. There will be 3 water stops. There is a 2:30 hour limit but if you think you be longer, you can start early and time yourself. We will be there by 8:30 if you want to start then. Directions: Get off at the 32nd street exit of 14 and heads toward the river. It starts by Cotton wood park. S. Index Street at S. 32nd Street
Saturday, March 16th, 10 AM Lewisville Park 5K Run Run Directors: Denis & Bryan Chapman 260-8722 Run the unpaved trails & roads in beautiful Lewisville Park. Directions: Go north on SR503 approx. 2 miles past the inter- section with N.E. 219th St. in Battle Ground. The entrance to the park is on your right, just after crossing over the East Fork Lewis River. Restrooms available
Saturday, March 23rd, 10 AM Hockinson Meadows Park 5K Run Directors: Lou & Sue Diaz 260-2851 This is a flat course with a little of everything Directions: From 1-205 take Padden Parkway exit - go east on Padden Parkway approx. 3 miles & turn left (north) on 117th ave. go north on 117th ave. approx. 2 miles & turn right (east) on N.E. 119th St.- stay on N.E. 119th St. approx. 2 3/4 miles & turn right (south) on N.E. 172nd ave. Park is 1/2 mile down 172nd ave. on your right. Restrooms available.

Saturday, April 13th, 10 AM Marine Park 5K Run Run Directors: Glen & Kris Hostetter 503-318-4261 For this event, we are partnering up Little Hearts Medical team. The race will still be free for club members but non-club members will have to pay the entry fee. We encourage members to pay the fee or make a donation to the cause. if not, you will not be eligible for any of the prizes or awards but your name will show up in the results.
Little Hearts Medical is a team that consists of pediatric cardiologists and cardiac surgeons (from Doernbecher at OHSU), nurses, child life specialists, and other volunteers that work with leading cardiologists and surgeons in China to provide care for orphans and children from underprivileged families who suffer from Congenital Heart Disease. Last fall, the team went on their first trip to China and are hoping to do many more!
On Saturday April 13th we will be co-hosting a 5K at Marine Park in Vancouver to help raise funds for medical equipment to take on the next trip! The run will still be free for all running club members and $35 for all non-members. We are also accepting donations and you will receive an event t-shirt with donation!

Saturday, April 20, 10 AM Lacamas Park 5 Mile Run Run Directors: Jenny & Terry Knight 254-5737 This run follows the mostly unpaved trails around Round Lake. A beautiful & challenging trail run! (unless your name is Jenny Knight). Restrooms available. Directions: From S.E. 164th ave., go east on SE 1st St., (1st becomes Lake Rd. on the south side of Lacamas Lake) approx. 5 miles to Everett St., in Camas. Then go north on Everett St. for 100 yds. to the main parking lot for Lacamas Lake Park - on the east side of the road. There is an overflow parking area on NE 35th ave. - just north of the park.
Saturday, April 27th, 10 AM Burnt Bridge Creek 3.4 Mile Run Run Director: Lance Thiede 910-6803 This run is on the Burnt Bridge Creek trail - west of Andresen Directions: Go south from SR500 on Andresen Rd.- then right (west) on 18th St.- Turn left at the stop light at Devine Rd.. Parking for the trailhead is on the east side of Devine Rd. - more parking available on 18th St., if needed. Restrooms available.

Directions: From Hwy 14 take Columbia House exit to Columbia Shores Blvd. south - then east on Columbia Way to the parking area. There are 2 parking areas- 1 on Columbia Way & 1 on Marine Park Way. Saturday, May 11th, 9 AM Salmon Creek 7.6 Mile Run Run Director: Doug Settlemier 573-7332 This run will be a counter-clockwise loop that uses the Salmon Creek trail and the local neighborhood streets. Restrooms available. Directions: From Hwy 99 go west on NE 117th St - drive PAST Salmon Cr. Park approx. 1/3 mile and turn right on the 1st paved road on your right. This is the area of the park where the baseball diamonds are located.
Saturday, May 18th, 10 AM Columbia River 5 & 10K Runs Run Director: Joe Rowley 360-903-3388 This run will be an out & back on the paved bike path that runs along the Columbia River. Directions: Take the 1-205 bridge south into Oregon. Take the 1st. exit (Airport Way) then drive east to 122nd ave.- Go north on 122nd ave. to Marine Dr.- then west on Marine Dr.- drive to the light just before you go under the 1-205 bridge. Turn left at this light and park on the side of this service road. Restrooms available inside Home Depot.
WEDNESDAY, May 22nd and 29th , 7 PM (start of summer series) David Douglas 5K Run Run Directors: Bill & Janet Fallon 892-1041 Run the paved & dirt trails of David Douglas Park and the surrounding neighborhood streets. Restrooms available. Directions: Go west from 1-5 on Mill Plain Blvd. - then north on Garrison Rd. (the light next to Garrison Square). Go left at the entrance north of the ball field and proceed to the furthest west parking lot.
